On September 11, 2012, Gilman Healthcare Center and the Iroquois County Republican Women held an amazing Remembrance Day Event at the Gilman Farm Bureau. The event was held to honor all the first responders of Iroquois County and was highlighted by an appearance by State Treasurer Dan Rutherford. Along with over 50 first responders, State Representative Elect Josh Harms and State Senator Shane Cultra were in attendance.
“It was a great event — well planned, and very respectful,” said Mark Emanuele, Marketing Director at Gilman Healthcare Center. “There was a nice slideshow which illustrated all the hard work our first responders do and a wonderful speech by State Treasurer Dan Rutherford.” The event was covered by almost all of the local media outlets and everyone seemed to have a great time.
